If you have been wondering how to stain a concrete floor, you may be surprised to learn that an acid based product will be the key to your success. If you have your product ready, prepare the area you want to stain first according to the manufacturer instructions.
Once your floor is ready, score a small area with a diamond blade and test a patch. The way all staining products react depends on the concrete it is placed on. By doing a test patch you will make sure you get the color you want. Once you feel confident your chosen acid stain is right for you, score the remainder of the floor and apply it.
