Here?s the online favorite for new Florida license plate

A new license plate design is coming to a Chevy near you. Florida officials, searching for the next generation of license plates, have narrowed it down to four designs?and put them to an Internet vote. This was the winner of that vote, but that doesn?t mean it?s the winning plate.

?The online poll represents one part of the process to select the new plate design. Before the design is manufactured, the public?s vote will be factored in with input from the Governor, Cabinet and policy makers,? the?Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles?stated in a news release put out today.

It was a pretty close vote. The above plate design finished with 15,441 votes. The below plates, from left to right, finished with 13,616, 6,192 and 14,785 votes, respectively.
