Erin Andrews leaving ESPN, rumored Fox Sports bound

So long, ESPN. Hello, Fox Sports?

Erin Andrews is leaving the ?Worldwide Leader in Sports," confirming rumors that swirled around the sideline reporter's future with ESPN.

Andrews, whose contract expired this week, is the latest marquee name to bolt Bristol, joining Michelle Beadle, Jim Rome, Pat Forde and Brian Kenny, who have all left ESPN in the last year for gigs elsewhere.

Andrews "did great work for us and we made an aggressive offer to keep her," an ESPN spokesperson said in a statement. "We wish her the best on her next chapter."

The 34-year-old Andrews hasn't commentated on her next career destination, although there is speculation on where she might land.

On Friday, Sports Illustrated columnist Richard Deitsch reported that Fox Sports ?is aggressively pursing? Andrews for a role on its network. A Fox Sports spokesperson declined comment.

Andrews covered a variety of sports since joining ESPN in 2004, including her sideline role for College GameDay's football and basketball coverage.

While Fox Sports prepares for its first regular-season college football coverage, Andrews would seem to be a perfect fit.

Lewis Kay, a representative for Andrews, told SI.com: "We are not in a position to discuss Erin's next career move."
