Slater?s 50/50, the hot new burger concept out of Southern California that popularized a signature meat patty made of 50% beef and 50% bacon, has just launched?revealed their burger of the month for January and the subsequent new year ? the Orange Chicken Burger.
Known for their fun and inventive burgers, this new limited-time menu addition features crispy strips of orange chicken topped with sweet coleslaw, roasted red peppers, grilled pineapple, green onions and Sriracha mayo. Yes, we know it?s not a ?burger,? but the concept is so interesting we?ll overlook that small bit of confusion at the possibility of a fun new taste.
Chinese food in a burger? Count me in for a trial run!
The $10.95 option is available at three of the chain?s California locations in Anaheim, Huntington Beach and San Diego.
